These guidelines are designed to ensure a fair, fun, and organized talent show for all participants and attendees. Please read them carefully.

I. Eligibility:
Open to: Residents of Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas.
Age Restrictions: All ages welcome.
Number of Acts: Participants may only be part of one performing act.

II. Registration and Submission:
Registration Deadline: All registration forms must be submitted by [Date and Time]. Late submissions may not be accepted.
Submission Process: Online form at [website address].
Act Description: A brief description of the act (including title and performers' names) must be provided during registration.
Technical Requirements: Participants must clearly outline any specific technical requirements (e.g., microphones, music stands, power outlets) on their registration form. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee all needs will be met.
Music/Audio: All musical accompaniment must be submitted in MP3 format by the registration deadline. Participants are responsible for ensuring the quality and appropriate editing of their music. Backup copies are strongly recommended.
Confidentiality Agreement: Due to the blind audition process, all contestants must sign a confidentiality agreement during registration. This agreement strictly prohibits making any social media posts or public announcements about their participation in Soo Voxx until officially permitted by the organizers. Maintaining anonymity and surprise is paramount for the integrity of the show.
Liability Waiver: All participants (or their legal guardians, if applicable) will be required to sign a liability waiver.

III. Audition Day Procedures:
Scheduled Audition: Participants will be assigned a specific date and time for their audition. Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time.
Contestants' Green Room: Upon arrival, you will be directed to the contestants' green room. You must remain in this area until it is your turn to perform and should not be seen in the main Club area. Refreshments: Refreshments will be available in the green room. A waitress will be available to take your beverage orders from the bar.
Supporters: If you have invited supporters, please inform them that they must not yell out your name or any identifying information before or during your performance. This is crucial for maintaining the anonymity of the blind audition process.

IV. Audition Performance Guidelines:
Time Limit: Each audition act will have a maximum performance time of 3.5 minutes.
Content Appropriateness: All performances must be family-friendly and appropriate for a general audience. Acts containing offensive language, gestures, or themes will not be permitted. The organizers reserve the right to stop any performance deemed inappropriate.
Stage Presence and Safety: Participants are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their equipment on stage. The use of dangerous props or activities is strictly prohibited.

V. Audition Judging and Advancement:
Objective: The objective of your audition is to get at least three (3) of the four (4) judges to turn around.
Advancement:
If three (3) or four (4) judges turn around, you will advance to the elimination rounds. If only two (2) judges turn around, you will be placed in a "sing-off" category and will perform again later in the same audition show.
If zero (0) or one (1) judge turns around, you will not advance. Four Turns: If all four (4) judges turn around during your audition, you will have the chance to be advanced directly to the semi-final round.

VI. Elimination Rounds:
Maintaining Interest: During the elimination rounds, it is crucial to keep the judges interested in your performance. There will be no scoring.
Judge Turns: If more than two (2) judges turn around during your elimination round performance, you will not advance to the next stage.

VII. Prizes and Recognition:
[Outline any prizes or recognition that will be awarded - e.g., Cash prizes for top placements, Certificates of participation, Audience choice award].

VIII. General Rules and Regulations:
The event organizers reserve the right to make changes to these guidelines as necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
The organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings or equipment.
By participating in Soo Voxx, you agree to allow the organizers to use photographs and video footage of your performance for promotional purposes, once the confidentiality period has ended.
